2012 National Value Added Ag Conference Presentation Proposals welcomed by April 27
American Farm Bureau Federation and the Michigan State University Product Center Food-Ag-Bio have joined forces to co-host the 14th National Value Added Agriculture Conference. The conference will investigate how partnerships between economic development agencies, communities and businesses enhance the quality of life for rural residents by fostering civic infrastructure, strengthening the sustainability of agricultural production, promoting value added products, and improving economic opportunities consistent with the scale and capacity of the community.
Those planning to attend the conference are invited to submit proposals for a sharing session titled Participant Potpourri: Innovative Ideas From Across the Country. This session will allow conference participants to share great ideas, successful programs and best practices with others attending the conference. Five proposals will be selected for this action packed session that will feature ten minute presentations. Audio visual equipment will be provided.
To submit your proposal please provide a 200 word abstract, presentation title and contact information for the presenter. The proposal deadline is April 27. Please place National Value Added Conference Proposal in the subject line of the message and send to firstname.lastname@example.org. Notification of proposal acceptance will be made by May 7.
